AZ Productions
Since its birth in 2005, AZ Productions has created over 100 of the highest quality music videos, dozens of commercials and a variety of short films.
As a multifaceted media production entertainment marketing company, AZ Productions offers a unique content creation and distribution platform to artists and companies from London to Los Angeles; delivering extensive experience and knowledge in the production and development of cutting-edge music videos, commercials, features, screen plays and new media. Match that with the ability to distribute content through various media platforms consisting of television, Internet, DVD, and print to get a company that services their clients from A to Z.
In fall 2010, AZ productions produced their first feature film, SOMEBODY HELP ME 2, as well as a commercial for a Fortune 50 company in Las Vegas.
Zeus Zamani - Producer
Zeus Zamani is innovating new ways to push the envelope in production. Over the past five years he has worked on a variety of projects including over 150 music videos for the likes of Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Slim Thug, Baby Bash, Big Sean, Tyler the Creator, and Marques Houston just to name a few. Two videos he produced for Tyler and Big Sean were nominated for the best new artist category at the 2011 VMA’s. Tyler the Creator won that award.
But Zeus doesn’t stop at music videos. He has produced commercials for Fortune 500 companies, a horror movie that premiered on BET Halloween night in 2010 and has since produced 3 more feature films, one of which is to debut in early 2012.
Having produced all over the US, UK, Sweden and Dubai; obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Technology & Design and a masters in Computer Science has blessed him with access to numerous important contacts and resources. These qualities together give Zeus the adaptability to enrich his client’s projects without having to cut corners.
Zeus is currently involved in numerous projects in music, commercial, and cinematic, including a brand new feature film due to go into pre-production at the end of 2011 which will be written and directed by his business partner and brother Ali Zamani.
Ali Zamani - Director
Ali Zamani consistently brings a fresh, hip and creative nuance to all of his film and music video projects. Enabling both established and up-and-coming artists to utilize his cutting edge techniques to attract and influence their fan-bases worldwide.
He began his career at Bournemouth University where he attained his Higher National Diploma in Video Production. He then obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Video, Media and Society from Northbrook College, UK.
During his time at Northbrook Institute, Ali was busy directing several short films which were chosen to be screened at the Duke of York's Cinema in Brighton. Following this success, he became dedicated to furthering his studies, ultimately receiving his masters in Mass Communication at California State University Northridge.
In 2006, after mastering all of the valuable skills and film making knowledge he could from school Ali, along with Zeus, spearheaded the birth and growth of AZ Productions, a multifaceted production company located in Los Angeles, California.
Since the birth of AZ Production Ali has directed more than 100 music video's and dozens of commercials internationally.
Matthew J. Hillyer - Producer
Matthew Hillyer shines bright in the world of production, graduating cum laude from Geneva College, and suma cum laude from the Los Angeles Film Studies Center.
Right out of school Matthew got the unique opportunity to work with Ridley Scott and Associates producing a variety of projects. His portfolio includes music videos, shorts, features and even commercial projects for clients like Revlon and Nike.
In a short amount of time Matthew has produced over 30 major projects and even managed to turn out some award winners like the festival short: One Hell of a Plan.
When AZ started work on the Butch Cassidy video in late 2010 Matthew was on site to aid in production. He was so detail-oriented and energetic that the AZ Productions team felt they could benefit from his full-time input. Since then, he has become a staple in the AZ team and a major component in the growth of the company.
